Tiger Pictures

Tigers are wonderful animals. I think it must be all the jungle movies you see as a kid that makes them so exciting to see.

I suppose I could pretend that I was on a safari somewhere when I took this shot. The lush green grass would probably be a good clue that I was lying. Yes, it's true I'm cheating with this shot. As with a couple of other posts on this site, this tiger picture is from a zoo. I am however pleased that I was able to use my zoom lens through an inch of glass and still get a pretty good picture. It isn't easy finding a patch of glass that hasn't been smudge by finger and nose prints.

I certainly hope to see them in the wild one day and hope that I'll have my camera at the ready when I do.
