Chipmunk Pictures

Small woodland creatures have a built-in cuteness factor that you won't find in other creatures. Even though they're common, it's still fun to take pictures of them. And sometimes the angle is just right that they look even cuter than normal.

Chipmunks certainly score fairly high on the cuteness scale. The ones here were taken at a campground where it was clear that previous campers had treated the chipmunks well. Almost immediately after setting up camp, these little guys came looking for handouts. And being prepared campers, we obliged. I think these chipmunks would've sat with us at dinner with enough prompting.
