Blogging Definition

Blogging is the verb (action word) that has been coined by people to refer to the act of adding an entry or entries to a blog. Those that actively engage in blogging write entries daily and sometimes hourly, but there is no rule for how often a blog entry must be added. It is entirely up to the individual.

Originally, blogging was similar to what people would write in a journal except with the intention of writing it for public consumption. Recently, the term is used more broadly to simply reflect the addition of an entry to a blog which could be anything from a retelling of a personal experience, an opinion, or the rehashing of news.
