Prospect, Oregon: An RV Park Near 3 Waterfalls

The area around Prospect, Oregon is beautiful — it's on the Rogue-Umpqua Scenic Byway, which is often called the “Highway of Waterfalls.” When my husband and I camped at Prospect RV Park, we found pretty Pearsony Falls — plus two taller falls, within about a mile of our campground, and more nearby.

The park is located about halfway between I-5 and Crater Lake National Park, in a forested area on the Upper Rogue River. It features 57 sites (10 pull-throughs) designed for the biggest rigs, plus full hook-ups, restrooms and showers. The campground is also the starting point for several hiking trails.

Prospect is on State Highway 62 (also known as the Crater Lake Highway) in southwestern Oregon, about 43 miles northeast of Medford, which is on I-5. (46611 Hwy. 62; 1-541-560-3399)
