Weekend SEO Reading

I do a lot of blog reading on the weekend. That's particularly true when it's cold and cloudy outside. This weekend's SEO reading includes a few gems that I thought would be worth listing.

Link development continues to be one of the most important tactics for SEO programs. It also happens to be an area where opinions vary. To that end, I recommend you read Sugarrae's Five Link Development Experts: A Group Interview. The interviewees include some big name players such as Eric Ward, Rand Fishkin, and Todd Malicoat.

Duplicate content trips up website owners. Sometimes they don't even know about the issues and sometimes they misunderstand them. For both camps, Rand Fishkin takes a stab at clearing up the issue with his The Illustrated Guide to Duplicate Content in the Search Engines.

And finally for those running WordPress blogs, it might be worth your time to check out this new plug-in from NetConcepts that helps you maximize the benefit of browser and page titles.
