Workplace Cliches

Accountemps, a temporary staffing firm, recently compiled a list of the most annoying workplace cliches. CIO Magazine goes to report that cliche-usage is even rampant among those customer-centric employees who, one would think, would want a paradigm that would get them on the same page with normal humans, or at least achieve some sort of communicative-synergy.

Let's see. I'm guilty of using (or is that abusing?) cliches 11 and 12. I think that's pretty good. Of course, that's probably because my favorites aren't even on the list.

(1) We're holding the fort (2) Get back to the ranch ( used by office workers who've never been to a horse ranch) (3) We need to revisit this issue ....popular with Canadians , I don't know about Americans (4) Going forward..... u pick (5) Business intelligence (6) the bottom line is.... (7) you're either WITH us or AGAINST us.... implied by hatchet men....or is that being used anymore ?? (8) Basically......this is.....u pick (9) Conduct proactive monitoring (10) we are a diverse culture...popular with Canadians...
