WordPress (and Blogging) Junkie
Recently I decided that I've become a blogging and, more specifically, a WordPress junkie. Every day I seem to have some idea for a post or modification that I have to try out as soon as possible. It seems I'm not the only one with this topic on the brain.
Darren Rowse over at ProBlogger offers us 8 Signs it Might Be Time to Take a Break from Blogging. And there are 8 More Signs You've Been Blogging Too Much from the Scobelizer blog.
And finally, my contribution to the warning signs of WordPress addiction:
- You spend 2 days painting your living room and to relax afterwards, you decide to upgrade to WordPress version 2.0.5.
- You spend many, many hours figuring out how to run WordPress locally so that you can blog when you travel and have no access to the Internet.
- You carry a copy of your WordPress blog on a USB drive so that you can tweak your template files anywhere and anytime.
- You subscribe to the WordPress plug-in RSS feed so that you can try out new WordPress plug-ins as soon as they're released.
- You write blog posts describing the signs of a WordPress addiction.
