Tracking AdSense with Google Analytics
Update:
Good news! Joost has integrated the new AdSense parameter into the main code base. No need to worry about my hack. Just download the latest version of his plugin.
A while back Google announced that they would be adding a new feature in Google Analytics that would hook into AdSense data allowing you to get more useful click data than ever before. After reading the announcement I eagerly waited for my account to be upgraded. And waited. And then waited some more. Lucky for me a co-worker sent this link my way allowing me to express my interest in getting the AdSense feature activated. Two days later I was good to go!
Next problem. How do you update multiple sites to use the new tracking parameter Google requires? No worries. I already had Joost de Valk's Google Analytics for WordPress installed and surely he has released an update with the necessary code! No such luck. So on goes my programmer's cap (you know, the one with the propeller).
Twenty newish lines of code later and Joost's plug-in now insert the necessary code to have AdSense data tracked by Google Analytics. You can download the updated file here. Be sure to change the extension to PHP from TXT.
Notes:
- Joost may update his plug-in 3 seconds after you install my update. I can't help that. And I hope he does so that this change becomes part of the official code.
- This modification and the extra Google Analytics code is only needed if you have multiple sites with AdSense. If you have just one, you don't need to change anything.

Ya actually but this is available only with US publishers...
but i think this service is not available for all publishers as google has told that they are still expanding this feature..
not sure..
Thanks for your code!
The new options for AdSense / Analytics integration actually make the adsense tracking that was included in the plugin obsolete, so i'll be removing that. You'll have to check "Track AdSense" in the backend and the code will be added to the header.
