Orchid Pictures

The New York Botanical Gardens is running a special orchid exhibit. This seemed like a good opportunity for me to go and practice taking pictures since I don't otherwise take many during the winter.

The conservatory where the orchids were housed was quite crowded so taking finding a good spot was sometimes tricky. The lighting was also pretty poor so I ended up using my flash all of the time. In many cases the light from the flash was too harsh, but I think I managed to get some good pictures of the orchids.
