When Is A Situation Too Dangerous To Give First Aid?
Just a little help, as I can't find anything on the internet. I know what you are trained to deal with but what is the extent of the training? What is out of first aiders control?

Any situation where you don't feel safe is where you are at risk. For example there was a car crash on my street at 6.30am the other morning and I refused to help as I did not feel safe. The rule is "You are number one" if you are injured then you are no good to the patient.
I did call the emergency services as I was walking to make sure the person was OK. It was the best I could do because I could of been hurt if I tried to help.

A dangerous situation to give first aid is when your life would be put in jeopardy. This would include a case where an individual has been shot, stabbed or beaten up and there is a hostile crowd at the scene. In this instance, you would need to have the police arrive first and secure the scene so you can safely attend to the victim.
If an individual has been electrocuted by a wire and the wire is close to the body--you would need to have the electricity turned off by the Electric Company..once again, so it is safe for you.
Many calls wind up being judgment calls. Such as a person who is unconscious after a car crash and the car is now on fire. You need to consider how quickly and safely you can remove the individual without endangering yourself or others.

It's a judgment call really - if YOU deem it to be too dangerous to yourself then you shouldn't do it.
remember - when you are giving first aid, it is just that. FIRST aid. Depending on the situation, you will be waiting for more specialized help to arrive. First aiders are trained to deal with any given first aid or emergency first aid situation but they are also trained to ask for help!

i had to right a list for school of reasons why proforming 1st aid could be dangerous.
electricity is highly dangerous, always make sure the electic current is switched off.
Never proform first aid if there is glass around because if you get injured you can't help the injured.
