How Long Does A CPR Certification Class Take?

I've got a CPR certification class on Wednesday and I have things to do afterwards but I don't know how long that takes. Does anybody know?

A full Red Cross Infant and Child CPR class takes about 4.5 hours. Since yours is not a real class like that, there is no way to know!

It usually takes about 2-3 hours depending on what they will teach you and how the class is run and how big the class size is. If you are worried call the instructor and ask how long it will last. Sorry but CPR is much more important than anything you need to do afterwards.

  1. If you took a test from a Red Cross and AHA course they are good for 2 years.
Please make sure to stay current.
You can always renew with an online course. I would strongly suggest you use a local company and get hands on training.
If you are just looking to renew, then I think an online CPR class is ok. I've used NationalCPRCertification.com and they were good. Just make sure whatever company you used the card will be nationally recognized.
