A lot of people like gardening. And a lot of people like the appeal of growing their own food. I fall into both of these camps. However, I've also taken to the idea of growing plants in a way that minimized the impact to the environment. This means things like only natural pesticides and fertilizers so that the soil remains as chemical free as possible.
I'm not sure when I made the switch from traditional to organic gardening. I think it was gradual until I realized that several of the things I was doing actually worked and that there truly was a way to reduce my environmental impact. Now I'm all for the concept and I'm writing on Infolific to help you jump on the bandwagon too!
